The last couple of days we spent travelling more into the “old” heart of Brazilian economy – the coffee fabrication areas of the 19th century. This is particularly interesting since the former coffee regions around Bananal over beautiful nature. Old fashioned farms are embedded in breathtaking hilly landscape. After we had finished our stay there close to the Serra da Bocaina we travelled all the way down to Parati. This place shows parts of the real heritage of the Portuguese community settling there more than 350 years ago. By the way, we had the opportunity to pass the Brazilan technological proud of the 60ies and 70ties – the nuclear power plants Angra 1-3. Enjoy the pictures taken there!
